Interesting book packed full of information for first-aid Homoeopathy and Acupuncture for specific need.Compact little 'BIG' book bit big for pocket or handbag but compensated for with very comprehensive material medica of 250pages. Also has helpful lists of remedies specific from basic first-aid, Expert kit, Tropical area kit, complementary Mountain kit, list for sailing and diving and last but not least a kit for radioactivity.
This is a professional compendium for the professional, well written with many lists and tables for better quicker access however, it would be good idea to mark pages of what maybe be needed in an emergency situation if taking this volume on a trip. weiterlesen ...

Quite usefull but a lot of redundant material.
The homeopathy part is ok. Yet that's what it should have stayed: First aid with HOMEOPATHY. Instead, there is a big part of allopathic, emergency and first aid material ( manoeuvers and medication) which is redundant: who will use it?! Emergency workers already know that and non-medical healthcare workers won't aplly them. This is the second edition of the book First Aid with Homeopathy in Spanish and the first in English. After 20 years of experience with the first edition and working with fellow acupuncturists and professional homoeopaths of the Emergency Services in medicalized ambulances, we realized that no manual in the world grouped the best of each technique or speciality to deal with cases of first aid and we dared to introduce it, in the 2nd edition. This compendium, unique, deals with the essentials of the 3 techniques, in vital medical emergencies, and that we introduce in the first pages: homoeopathy, acupuncture and allopathy (pages 44 to 97).
When we go into the detail of first aid for external causes, from page 97 to the end of the book on page 901 of the indexes, the book immerses itself fully only in the homoeopathic world already complex, but at the same time great interest and usefulness.
We believe, and this has been confirmed to us by many readers, that, in situations of great urgency, having a quick guide to solve problems of a vital medical emergency, being able to have and complement homoeopathic remedies with conventional emergency medicines, with acupuncture techniques already proven in the field in emergencies, can be a very good tool in already expert hands and professional personnel working in emergencies.
This book aims to be as broad as possible in medical emergencies due to external causes and so we have expanded from 500 to almost 1000 pages in the 2nd edition and from 100 to 200 well-described remedies, adding chapters very little treated, such as Jet Lag, Travel Medicine and epidemic diseases, or the use of the word as a similar remedy, Homeopathy with the word, a technique that well used, and in the absence of available remedies, gives great and very good results. weiterlesen ...
